OzReady Prep ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use the OzReady Prep mobile application ("App").
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Study Progress Data — Your quiz results, chapter completion, and study streaks are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device.
- Crash Reports — Firebase Crashlytics automatically collects device model, OS version, and a stack trace when the App crashes. No personally identifiable information is included.
- Analytics Events — Firebase Analytics collects anonymised usage data such as screens viewed. This data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally.
- Advertising Data — Google AdMob may collect your Advertising ID (GAID on Android, IDFA on iOS) to serve personalised advertisements. You can opt out in your device settings.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and improve the App experience
- Diagnose technical problems via crash reports
- Understand usage patterns to prioritise new features
- Display relevant advertisements to free-tier users
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

5. Advertising & Tracking
The App shows advertisements served by Google AdMob. On iOS, we request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before accessing your IDFA. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, you can opt out via Settings → Google → Ads.
6. Data Storage & Security
All study progress is stored exclusively in a local database on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. We implement industry-standard security measures.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Your Rights
You may delete all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing App data in your device settings. For Firebase-collected data, contact us via the Email Support button in the App.
9. Australian Privacy Act
We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Australian residents may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au if they believe their privacy rights have been breached.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
